I have an event that occurs regularly and the only concievable way for me to carry during said event is in ankle holster. Does anyone have a recommendation on which one to get? The firearm carried will be a Keltec P3AT or similar sized weapon. Thanks in advance.

I have a Galco Glove for my S&W Airweight .38Spc. Great ankle holster.

Just to clarify. I have to carry with the AH becasue I will be outside in Texas heat with a shirt and tie and no jacket. The AH is the only option that will be inconspicuous and allow fairly quick access.

Hi,

I have gone bowling using one of these with the AMT Backup. I had this setup back in 89 over in San Diego. No problems and easy to draw from.

I carry a Kahr P9 in a Uncle Mikes sidekick ankle holster everyday. I work outside building fences and welding, so I do alot of walking, squatting, and laying down with this set up. It stays put, and most of the time I forget its there. Been wearing this holster for 7 years, and it still looks good enough to wear for 50 more. Durable, stays put, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the feedback folks.

Bobby,

That setup makes since, but drawing means that at some point you will be pointing directly at your leg. Under stress, that makes me nervous.

I think i am going to try out the Uncle Mikes unless somebody posts a better idea.

Hello,

Nope all ankle holsters point at your leg on draw this one does not. Muzzle points behiend you, you dont pull up the pants leg but hit the snap and pull down. The rotate the pistol grip around and bring it up. Its like a calvery draw in feel. I do see what you mean but until you try them it is a unknown. Good luck with it and be safe no matter what ya go with.

Thanks for clarifying that. I wasn't thinking about drawing it that way.
