Flagstaff, AZ LEO shot dead. He didn't ask to see hands.

This is a story about a 24 year old LEO who had been on the force for just a year.

He was interviewing a man who seemed relatively calm, but had his hands in his pockets.

All of a sudden the subject pulled out a cowboy style .22 revolver and put 4 rounds into the
officer's head, and one in his body.

The BG then committed suicide with the LEO's Glock.

This body cam video has recently been shown in LEO training classes.

RIP officer Tyler.

... and too many people protest "excessive" use of force by the LEO community when subjects don't comply with commands. The officers' job is to control the scene, investigate and perhaps detain folks. Their desire (as anyone else's should be) is to simply be able to go home at the end of their shift with the same number of holes they started out with.
