Anyone have experience with holsters that work well with a kilt. Tried sporran carry, that doesn't work well for me.
Tried a belly band as well didn't much care for that either.

actually there are quite a few ways to cc under a "skirt", I'll limit the options to "guy" options as I don't think you're interested in a corset....
These are just a few that I can think of real quick:

_there's the belly band that's been mentioned, be creative, don't limit it to one figure out what you didn't like and see if you can fix it, I've made several
_ another is the smart carry mentioned, popular with guys.
_there are a couple of different compression shorts out there with pockets for guns in various places some have them at the waist, some on the leg. They're nice, but you're looking at a small gun for these, anything big would be too big for the pockets. If you're interested in this option, I can look them up for you, they sell on Amazon and I'm pretty sure I have the newer cheaper one with the pockets at the waist on my list.

You need a nice custom tooled leather gunbelt and matching holster, and a custom 1911 with mother of pearl grip panels, carried openly. Both the holster body and the mother of pearl grip panels should have your clan's crest worked into them.

I carry in very worn smart carry when I am in sportswear pants. no one had a clue. Just do not flash it.

As any proper Scotsman would know, raising your kilt to access a hidden gun in a drop-leg thigh holster (or a holstered .32 in a garter, for you east coast types) would expose more than you had intended.

I'm going to paint with a broad brush here, but in my experience kilt-wearers seem to be the sort of attention-seekers who would prefer open carry.

Does my kilt make my butt look...hey, hey, don't be lookin...well, okay, blush, you can look, just don't say anything as I'm shy...tee hee...

Tomorrow, I'm getting a new purse that matches my kilt, whoops, it's not a purse, it's (deep baritone voice) A SPORRAN!
