Just had some questions as I wait in this crowed room
Does anyone know how many employees in this department?
Who makes the call on approvals/denials? Administrative assistant III's?
Do they work seven days a week? (I have seen post where status changed over the weekend)
Where is the license made? Austin?

Texas is a shall issue state. That means that unless there is a statutory disqualifer you are approved.

64 people.
Decisions go out over the signature of someone with the job title Manager. They have lawyers on staff. I talked to one.

If everything is kewl, then the processor makes issues the approval. If there is a question on a past criminal issue, they make a prelim approval and it gets signed off by a "manager"
