I'm going to buy another Dillon 650 and need to make room for it on the bench.

550B Package $400:
550B
45 ACP dies (old style)
4 Conversion Kits [not dies] (.45 ACP, 38/357, 40 S&W, .223)
5 Tool heads
Strong mount

Square Deal B (SDB) with .45 ACP dies - $200

Both presses have loaded a lot of ammo, but are in good shape. Plus, Dillon's life time warranty applies even if you are not the original purchaser.

Regards,
Chas.

Charles,

Would you mind providing a link to the current offering of each product? I am seriously considering a Lee Turret kit and am wondering if the increased cost of these is worth it... Thanks!

Kalrog:

Here is a link to the 550B http://dillonprecision.com/template/p.c ... kieClean=1, but you have to search the Dillon site to find the accessories. This page should help: http://dillonprecision.com/template/sea ... kieClean=1

Here is the link to the SDB: http://dillonprecision.com/template/p.c ... kieClean=1

Note that the 550B does not come from Dillon with dies, but the SDB does have dies.

Regards,
Chas.

The 550b is absolutely worth it! I haven't looked back since I've gotten mine. The Lee kit is good, but no where near a Dillon for quality and strength. Thier warranty is second to none. If something breaks, they replace it free with no questions asked. Even if the break was your fault, it is still replaced free.

What Chas is offereing is a heck of a deal. The conversion kit alone run around $50 if I recall. You wouldn't be sorry going the dillon route.

Price reduced on the 550B; I miscalculated the discount I wanted to apply.

Sorry,
Chas.
