Hi,
Just wondering had anybody here sent their application in by mail? I am a student living in great ole Texas. I tried submitting the online application but DPS doesn't have my SSN on file and when I went to add it they told me I had to pay for a new license etc and I didn't want to.

I sent my initiqal application and supporting documents via mail and if I remember right the 1st and 2nd renewal was sent via mail as well because they didn't have the online features implemented. I remember the waiting time was longer a the online application which I used this year and 5 years ago.
Contacting a LTC instructor may get you a more detailed explanation.
