Car break ins are so bad they post signs in their cars " no valuables inside".
The future of the rest of the country?

Do they post the signs in English and Spanish with letters at least one inch high?

A friend who lived in Houston never locked his vehicle doors, figuring if someone wanted in they'd damage his vehicle getting in. He never suffered any damage to his vehicle, so maybe he was right, but leaving my vehicle unlocked wasn't something I could do then and still can't do.
Also, he never left anything of value in his vehicle.

They sell kits that you can use to open a car door on Amazon. No need to break the glass. Very easy for a crook to hit you.

I think the signs are OK, at least for what part of the equation they cover, and I think I'd like something like that for my pick-em-up.
Maybe, "Hello, there. I'm a contemporary indigenous American. Please do not harm me or take my artifacts. No valuables were left in this car, including the custom .45 I still have with me, watching you from across the street. Have a very nice day."
