Police say on Sunday, about 90 minutes before the mall incident, 911 operators got a call from a man who said he was Dodd and warned he was armed and knows police are looking for him “so be ready.”
Shortly after this incident I was informed by a trusted acquaintance that a gentleman matching this description was transported by EMS to a local emergency department. They said not to worry. A well placed center mass shot will likely inhibit him from ever walking (key word) up to another business to commit a crime. Park Mall policy is no guns or weapons. You’re right that there are no.06/.07 signs. I conceal carry when I am forced to go there. Sunday night. Just heard about it. Parks Mall 5 miles from my house. Gun free zone.
Suspect pointed replica gun at police officer. Police officer shot him with real gun.
