(Reuters) - At least two people were shot dead in what appeared to be a“domestic dispute” at a dormitory at Central Michigan University on Friday and police were hunting for the gunman, school officials said.
Sounds like victims were not students, not sure about the suspect.

"At least two people were shot dead in what authorities said was a domestic issue at a dormitory at Central Michigan University on Friday morning and police were searching for the gunman."

"The university said no one was injured by the gunfire."

I'm confused.

This should clear up the confusion ... no guns are allowed there; so no one could be injured by the gunfire there.
Hope this helps.

Is this going to turn out to be yet another kid who was on scrips for depression/mental issues and/or with a history of indicators of a pending problem? Or was this an "independent non-approved pharmaceuticals sales rep" (I see in the photo in the article that he's wearing blue, and he had a firearm in a gun free zone) who REALLY didn't want to spend spring break with mom and dad?
