Does it have anything to do with becoming the wife of a LEO?

Good job sbrawley! The Maverick 88 is Mossberg's cheaper version of the 500. It's a good gun, but for some reason, they relocated the safety from their trademark, top tang, to near the trigger guard. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but I didn't notice it until I got one for my son. Glad your wife is becoming more comfortable shooting and carrying. Have her jump on more often. I haven't seen many posts from her lately.sbrawley wrote:For those who don't know my wife's history, read here

Now she has her LTC, a Springfield XDs(9) and a Springfield XD Mod 2(40). Last night she was talking about wanting to get a revolver and today we went to Academy and a Pawn Shop so she can look at revolvers. While looking, she asked if I wanted to get a shotgun. Um, YEAH!
She's still undecided on which revolver, but I'm considering the Mossberg Maverick 88. If I follow through, I may have to join a 3-gun competition soon![]()
I believe I have converted her
Now where’s my revolver?sbrawley wrote:I bought a Mossberg 500 20 gauge today. We went to a recommended gun shop, Ellis Gun Shak (thanks G.A. Heath) and we both fell in love with it so I had to get it.
