An amazing fact that you don’t see written about very often.

They of course do not mention that all four countries , Mexico, Venezuela, Columbia and Brazil only allow criminals and the police to carry guns.

Way at the end of the article a popular “right wing” candidate for Brazil’s presidential election is promising to relax Brazil’s restrictive gun laws. “Right now only one side can shoot”.

Same thing applies here, in the states with the highest crimes are the toughest to buy guns. Only criminals and police have them in those states for the most part anyway.

The graph in that article is interesting... Leave it to CNN to reverse the years so, at a glance, it looks like the number of homicides in Mexico is decreasing.
