Took both the Glock 26 and the M and P Shield in 9 mm. to the range today. Firing the same brand of ammo through both I noticed I was getting tighter groups with the Shield than the Glock. Probably grip/trigger issues but not sure. Anybody else have the same experience?

It sounds to me like you shoot the M&P better than the Glock. I or anyone else might get different results. Or not.

I dont own any glocks but i get tighter groups with my 9mm shield than i do with my 686 revolver.

I had a similar situation way back. Except mine was the reverse. I shot an M&P 9mm next to the G26. I was blowing the center out of the 10 ring with the Glock, and did worse with the M&P. So, it's all an individual thing. Obviously I bought the Glock.

I carry and shoot an M&P Shield9 from the Performance Center. I have some issues with my hands and the Shield fits better than most. A lot of how well you shoot a certain pistol or revolver has to do with how it fits your hand. There are a lot of good pistol's out there and I try to never say one is better than another. You should carry and shoot what fits you better and what you like better.

Curious. Are you shooting your 686 DA or SA?

I mostly use it double action at the range. However. i practice DA and Single.
