Made someone today

Well, I was at work today just passing time behind the counter, when a customer came up to me. I asked him if there was anything I could help him with, and we spent a couple minutes talking about cameras. While we were talking I was watching him (discreetly), and I noticed a bulge about the 4 o'clock position. When he turned around and left the department, I was able to see that there was a very faint outline of a gun butt. It was very well concealed, and I would almost certainly not have noticed it if I had not been for one thing-he was wearing an NRA T-shirt

Remember folks, what's written on your clothing can be just as revealing as the clothing itself. (Like the guy about 3 months back that came into the department wearing a Kimber T-shirt at least 2 sizes too large, that was bunching up the right side of his waistband  )

I think the t-shirt is hilarious, albeit "over the top" and about as highly-unPC as possible. I wonder where you can buy them?

I believe that only gun nuts and gun forum junkies would understand the hat.

AS far as the shirt, I've seen that same one for sale at a few gun shows.

T3hK1w1,

Personally, I don't wear anything with logos if I can help it, although some of my Magellen shirts would look vandalized if I cut off all their free advertising/marketing efforts.

As to the pistol printing, I know of nothing that will conceal your weapon to be totally outline free. Briefcases excepted.

learn something new every day... sounds like a good tattoo in the making :)

I gotta say though, I know it probably wasn't your intent to discourage folks from wearing NRA gear, but it sort of comes off that way.

Hmmm, i wonder if you could wear a T-shirt saying "Warning, I'm Armed" and conceal carry and be legal so long as the gun is actually concealed. I wouldn't do such a thing but it does bounce around my knoggin as funny.

I wear gun hats, gun shirts and I have NRA stickers on my Jeep. (Along with Coast Guard Dad stickers) I really don't mind a BG wondering if I carry. I need that hat
