Maryland is a May issue state- need a real good reason to conceal carry

Permit required to purchase a handgun.

Basically sounds heavily regulated to the point everyone in Maryland is a sitting duck.

I think stotguns and bolt action long rifles is all you can own.

Guess this will ratchet the left up a notch and all shotguns will have to be banned too.

On another note, I have not looked yet but I was thinking Maryland has some pretty tough restrictions on firearms and even the magazines and such.

yeh, that seems to be pretty consistently reported.....
another network is apparently reporting that he is 39, so the age is being debated.

Polosi already calling for gun control. No one mentions Maryland has heavy gun control, which is why no one could shoot back.

It’s a 10 round magazine state, if you can buy a gun, which you probably can’t.

Getting a concealed permit or any permit to carry in Maryland is next to impossible. Which is exactly why people had to hide under their desks waiting to be slaughtered.

You never know.

The cowardly shooter threw his weapon down and hid under a desk when the police arrived after only (!) 60 seconds reportedly.

It was also reported that he stopped after slaughtering his first victims to reload. At that point he could have been taken out had there been a "good guy with a gun".

It is disgraceful IMHO that no one there was able to defend themselves.
