I dropped off Facebook several years ago. I could see way to much potential for someone to learn a lot more about me than I wanted them to. I also did not need to know as much about others, as they liked to reveal. Other than here, and a few other forums, I don't have much of an on line presence. No Twitter, Snapchat, or any other social media. If anyone needs to inform me of any thing, they can call or email. JMHO

For reasons that escape me, leftists love criminals (see ms13) and sexual criminals too to name 2 categories.
We as non-criminals aren't supposed to recognize them for what they are, but let them do what they do without criticism.

Would "transophile" have been less offensive to those looking to protect a predator? 
Perhaps by focusing on the label, they feel better about overlooking the obvious concern.
People are way too sensitive... I don't get all offended when I hear old guy, white guy, crotchety, conservative, cracker, NRA member, gun guy, heterosexual, or other. I'm a middle aged, straight white guy, conservative, gun owner- no way around that. Just own it.

I also embrace Deplorable, short, fat and bald!! In fact my wife has probably called me a lot worse!!
