Since banning guns and knives hasn't stopped people from being murdered, he wants to put a ban on cars in certain areas of the city. Do these idiots not get the correlation between the influx of refugees and higher crime/murder rate?

What's next? Are they going to ban fists? How about feet? Don't want anybody to get beaten to death.

The Democratic / Liberal option has always been to further regulate, it's ingrained in their socialistic ideology. Regulate the people, retain control.

I'm glad that they've chosen to make themselves the "harm group" in the world study on the effects of arms control. We need to remain the control.
Almost as insane as Britain's formal advice that rape victims should lay back and take it lest they harm their attackers and thus break the law. I had always assumed that governments wouldn't cross certain boundaries in limiting the right to self defense, but Britain seems bound and determined to give the criminals free reign.

To set the proper example, the good mayor must dismiss any armed security he has assigned to him and give up his automobiles. He would feel safe walking the streets of London right?
What a buffoon.

Somewhere recently I heard or read that they had some issue with little kid pools as well. Because somebody who was trying to break into a house managed to trip and fall and drown in one or something of the sort. So now you can't have pools in your backyard in case somebody trying to rob you might hurt themselves.

Isn't the Mayor of London named Sadiq Khan? I have a number of Muslim friends, but believe that he is among the more radical wing and was the one who had the "Blimp" of President trump flown in protest in London during the president's visit to the UK. Winston Chruurchill must be turning over in his grave.

It was more than 10 years ago (when I still lived in UK) I think it was during a business "health and safety at work" meeting that I posed the question "how long would it be before it became a legal requirement that everyone must put on a crash helmet in the morning before they get out of bed. Also that it would be necessary to attend an annual safety course on the correct way to walk up and down stairs. I can almost believe that such days are coming.

Without the exact specifics you outlined, 'those days' ARE there for the U.K. at least in the London area...
The U.K. Sweden, Germany, et al are (if you will) are self doomed.
I'm glad you made it out as the original residents are now in the quickening minority and will be punished for being who they are...it's time for those able to bail to beat feet out the grip they're held by...the U.K. etc. is toast.
Sound grim or unrealistic?
It's grim and quite realistic...

People in the UK should already know this is a great defensive strategy. They used to call it a moat! Maybe I'll surround my house with kiddie pools and put blow-up alligators in them.
