Three teens in one car exchange words at a gas station with the driver of another car. 18 year old passenger pulls gun and points it at 39 year old driver of other car who has his 88 year old mom in passenger seat. I don’t know the particulars of vehicle positions and movement in this case, but I would think that, in many cases, If someone pointed a gun at you from another car, you might be able to step on the gas or brake in less time than it would take to draw and aim your own weapon.

However, it was indeed tragically stupid for the teenager to point the gun in the first place.

People behave differently in their vehicles.
