Training

Post by Sailor »

Gordon Carrell put on the best training classes I've ever attended this past weekend, Aug. 18th & 19th. CCIDPA http://www.ccidpa.org filled up both his Pistol II course on Saturday and his Pistol III course on Sunday. The material, course flow, attitude, knowledge of competitive shooting by the instructor, ability to transfer knowledge i.e.TEACH, were all 1st Class. Gordon Carrell is the best instructor I've met in the 6-7 years I've been shooting competitively. I highly recommend anyone seeking training to contact Gordon Carrell at his website: http://www.glcshootingacademy.com

Gordon is shooting the upcoming IDPA Nationals.

Let's wish him a win!

I had the good fortune to meet and talk with him for some time while he was practicing at our range earlier this month.

I had been considering his courses.

This kind of personal recommendation goes a long way.

Thanks.

Mike-

You will not meet a nicer fellow. He is amazing to watch perform and will take the time to answer questions from both newbies and advanced shooters.

My Wife was watching me shoot an IDPA match at PSC late last year and Gordon was an SO on one of the stages. He yelled for everyone to stop and I thought I had done something wrong! I look over and realize that he stopped everything so my wife could step forward and get a better angle on the video she was taking. He cares about the sport and does everything in his power to make it pleasant and educational.

I would love to take one of his courses and learn a small fraction of what it takes to shoot like he does.
