Academy has this on sale right now plus Browning is offering a 10% rebate.

I'm thinking about going with it. Does anybody have any experience with Browning safes? I looked this one over yesterday. Comes with an SG electronic lock which is a selling point.
I know they're not as sturdy as a commercial TL rated safe but I'm looking for good enough and big enough that I'm not going to outgrow it any time soon.

I just took delivery of my second Browning safe last week. The first one was a small 20 or 23 gun safe. I forgot the actual size but at the time it was what would fit in my closet. Basically it was a smaller version of the one linked above. It is now at my mom's just to store 3 or so guns and documents.
The door barrel rack may not may not be at the right height to hold a shotgun. I had to raise it to hold a Browning Maxus because it would hit the forend. You will lose the first row in the safe becasue of the door rack but to me it is nice to have for frequently used long guns. Scoped rifles will have to be turned sideways because that safe does not have the scope saver cutout like the more expensive safes have.
It appears to have the Axis shelf system. The Axis shelves are pretty nice. It also looks to have a electrical outlet which is also nice. I have Browning's light kit in the new one plus their version of the Golden Rod. The outlet is a plus.
Both of safes had the electrical lock and I like them because they are easy to use.
I have no complaints from either safe and do like the door rack for long guns even with the storage limitations inside the safe.
Any safe can be broken into with enough time.

I recently installed a Steelwater safe, and have not regretted the decision. Great safe, lots of extras and free delivery to the garage.

you might want to check out the Cannon safes at Tractor Supply, if you have one near you.

When I was researching safes, I found that the Browning FMJ was a good bargain for a quality safe.
