CNN has had 100 staffers take an early buyout to leave CNN. According to a source I saw, CNN has lost 26% of its viewers in the last year.
I guess people got fed up with the fake news, such as "Russian collusion."

When people are laid off, the all purpose response for them to get on their feet is "Learn to code" (computer programming).
"Learn to code" has been branded as hate speech by some.
Computer programming isn't for everyone. And even if you decide to learn to code, which language?
Computer languages come into favor, then drop away, so even if you learned to code, your chosen language could end up out of favor.
And of course H1B visas allow US tech companies to hire India Indians for a fraction of an American's wage. Those Indian universities keep pumping out grads with the latest skills.

The nice thing though is that a lot of coding languages share a lot of the same language with differences being in the syntax, that's been my experience anyway.

There’s some history to that whole "learn to code" meme, predating the present difficulties being face by some journalists. Some years ago, it was suggested by the left-media (but I repeat myself) to laid-off blue collar factory workers whose jobs were disappearing overseas, that this would be a good time for a career change, and that they should learn to code. Apparently the Democrat Steno Pool (AKA “the media”) doesn’t consider
that an offensive, and maybe even ridiculous suggestion. But when it happens to
them, it’s an intolerable offense.

Of course they are. The Clinton News Network won't be investigated just like Clinton won't.
