Myself and a bunch of other folks all lost our jobs today as a result of the company we work(ed) for downsizing.

Requesting prayers for the many good folks and their families, that they may find gainful employment in the near future (not easy in a small town).

God's will be done.

We will pray for you and those families. I had four families loose jobs in my Church about a little over 2 years ago when Nortel down sized. I understand.

There are two things paying bills in NE Texas right now: Red River Army Depot, and the I-30 construction project. The highway contractors need labor ranging from flag wavers to heavy equipment operators (the pay varies accordingly).

Best of luck in your search.

My Thanks to everyone.

So many times in my life I have witnessed the power of prayer.

When sincere and thoughtful prayer is lifted up....and it is in accordance with God's will, great things seem to happen.

I have received several heartening PM's from my friends here, I really appreciate everyones thoughts.

I want to say however, that my main concern and reason for posting this is for my fellow workers. Many of them had been with this company for 20 yrs. or more. Sadly, some of them do not have other skills that will make finding a job much of a certainty.

My petition is for their sakes, I will manage just fine.

Thank You all again....from the bottom of my heart.

Flint.
