Started in a cemetery, then moved to a bodega. Apparently 1 man all in black escaped from there.

Arrived towing a Uhaul.

Guns are illegal in New Jersey.

RIP officer. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I do not understand people and why they do the things they do.

It could be that the captured and injured male and female were victims and the BG escaped. I’m speculating as why would only one man be dressed in black, if they were a team.

They are now saying six dead.

Might be a joint task force thing. There's a lot more of that than folks realize. Can jump start tracing the firearms. Might have an interest or relation to a case they're working. There could be other play toys on hand they want to look at. Assistance comes from many sources with high profile events.

The two shot suspects were juveniles? What the heck people? It sounds a bit like they were re-enacting a video game.

Not yet. I read the juvenile part on the page from the link phillip posted above. That page has several updates on it.

Police office murdered was part of a gun task force to get guns off the street.

Sounds like a meetup in a cemetery went bad.

They then hijacked a uhaul to escape.

Ended up at a small Kosher store.

Then the shoot out started with the police.

Was this all to get a couple of rifles off the street?

Nice summation. The whole darned story, at this point, is more convoluted than fathers day in a chicken coup.

Aren't guns illegal in jersey?
