It seems that whenever a new crowd finds out I'm an instructor I get tons of questions about licensing.

I had someone ask me last night at a Super Bowl party about a DV disqualification. He had a Misdemeanor DV in 1992. He wanted to know if there was a time frame where it wouldn't be a disqualification for his license. I told him that IANAL but my understanding is that unless he had it expunged it was a lifetime disqualification. But that I would ask those on here that were lawyers for their opinion. Was I incorrect in what I told him?
