While wasting some time going through ushandgun website, I came up with a question about our great state. Is Texas the ONLY state that allows license holders to carry in their capitol? I didn't go through every state, but none of the ones I did allow it.

Kansas allows concealed carry in the state capitol building:
Chapter 75.--STATE DEPARTMENTS; PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES
Article 7c.—FIREARMS
75-7c21. Concealed handguns in state capitol.
(a) An individual may carry a concealed handgun in the state capitol provided such individual is
not prohibited from possessing a firearm under either federal or state law
More generally they allow concealed carry in any state or municipal building
...unless such public area has adequate security measures to ensure that no
weapons are permitted to be carried into such public area and the public area is conspicuously
posted with either permanent or temporary signage approved by the governing body, ...
They define "adequate measures" to be electronic equipment to detect weapons and armed personnel at each entrance.
I think Indiana does too, but don't have a reference at hand.

I think Virginia used to but it was made unlegal recently.

City of Houston public buildings have big signs on the doors that say “No Unlicensed Firearms”
Even at the airport.
