Please correct me if I’m wrong, but this listing seems to me to be an SBR.

https://www.armslist.com/posts/11470446 ... sale-trade

and unless he is requiring a stamp (which I doubt). This would be illegal

From the photos, the barrel looks longer than the quoted 11.5”. Not sure the description is accurate.

I bet he meant barrel shroud. The aircraft aluminum should have tipped me off.

Agree. But yes, if the description were accurate, that would in fact be an SBR. That said, I own an 11.5” SBR, and that carbine definitely looks longer than my SBR.

Thats not an 11.5", but even if it is short, ATF has been known to honeypot unsuspecting buyers who don't don't the exact legalities.

All of NFA and FPA needs to be overturned.

Go ahead and add GCA to that list as well.

I think the listing is missing the word "shroud" or the seller really has no idea what a barrel is .

The gun has a $700 new price tag, good luck to him getting $2k for it.

That's what I alluded to in my second post... The aircraft aluminum was the tip off...

As far as the 2K asking price, I'm seeing all kinds of Yahoo's out there on TGT and ARMSLIST.... Taurus PT-111 going for $350.00... Some guy has a CZ Rami with a CGW upgrade that his has been trying to get $800.00 for the last 6 months... Now he's asking 1K for it.... That's just the tip of the iceberg... I used to search both sites to see what fun deals I could find.. Now I'm just searching for entertainment....

This. There is no way the barrel in the photo is under 16”.

Should have read the rest of the replies. Agreed to the barrel shroud idea...

Wait. Barrel shroud. That's the shoulder thing that goes up, right? :biggrinjester:
