Great, just what Texas needs is another wealthy socialist. In a few years he’ll have to leave Texas after the politicians he supports here turn it into a version of what he wants to leave California for.

Last year, he [Elon Musk] tweeted:
‘Those who proclaim themselves “socialists” are usually depressing, have no sense of humour & attended an expensive college.

Musk appears to be more libertarian than anything, with a tilt to the left, given his all-in support of "climate change." The fact that the California nomenklatura have him PO'd is hopefully illuminating for him.

He's already in Texas, having built (and still building) a launch facility in Boca Chica.

Fort Bend County makes a pitch.

AOC says nothing, but California representative tells him to , well you’ll have to read the headline to get an idea what she tweeted.

Gov. Newsom Says Elon Musk’s Fight is with Alameda County, Not State

So the governor throws the county under the bus. The article explains that it is a state order that is being used to close the Tesla plant, not a local one, but the guv is looking down the road and trying to set up Alameda County as the bad guys when Elon makes good on his threats.

This is glorious.

Elon Musk, Grimes want to name their newborn son X Æ A-12, but California isn't having it
https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertai ... 092590001/

These are not people who are to be taken seriously....
After Musk announced the birth of the child Monday, Grimes tweeted a full breakdown of the name late Tuesday:

"•X, the unknown variable

•Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence)

•A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent

+ (A=Archangel, my favorite song) (metal rat)"

However, Grimes apparently made a mistake in her explanatory post, which Musk corrected.

"SR-71, but yes," he wrote in response.

From article above:

Elon Musk

““politicians and unelected bureaucrats" who have abused their power during the coronavirus pandemic deserve to be punished for their decisions to shut down state economies across the country.”

“ Politicians 'who stole our liberty' should be 'tarred, feathered & thrown out of town!'”
