37 yo pizza delivery driver shot and killed a 19 yo man who was trying to rob the driver. A neighbor who witnessed the event talked to the driver who asked the neighbor and his room mate to call police, then saw a 17 yo girl walk out of nearby house, approach the driver, then shoot and kill the driver. Turns out the girl lived a block away. She has been caught and charged with robbery and murder.

I'm speculating that the girl called for a pizza delivery to the house she was in or near, and the boyfriend was waiting in ambush.


John Farnam taught in his self-defense classes that you don't get to decide when the self-defense event is over. It's not over until the police have controlled the scene and you are somewhere safe.

RIP pizza driver.

17 yo girl named.

The girl committed a murder and was an accomplice to an armed robbery at the age of 17. She is beyond saving. Life without Parole is a fitting sentence or if tried as an adult, the death penalty. Maybe I'm becoming jaded, but since my grandfather's murder, I have little sympathy for murderers.

Pizza driver was married and had a newborn. He had worked in the meat department at a local store for 10 years prior to the pizza job. I'll bet he got laid off during the lockdown frenzy and with a newborn coming took whatever job he could get. Sad.

There are some in the criminal justice system who need a deserve a second chance. She isn't one of them.

The 17-year-old girl is being charged as an adult with three counts of murder and numerous other felonies. The story says she did indeed bait the pizza delivery guy by calling in an order to be delivered to a vacant house where he would be ambushed.
