NYC: Knocking old people to the ground a thing?

Man walking down sidewalk passes 92 yo woman on her way to the pharmacy. He reaches out and punches or slaps side of her head, knocking her to the ground where she strikes her head on a fire hydrant. 32 yo man with at least 65 arrests on his record. Video of attack at link.

NYFD firefighters see a 53 yo guy on bicycle punch and knock down an elderly man. Four of the firefighters chase the attacker, catching and holding him for police. Attacker is charged with assault, menacing, harassment and attempted assault. He was released without bail.

I'll bet that idiot mayor they have tries to have the firefighters disciplined or fired for not wearing masks while they chased.

Nah, not just knocking old people to the ground but in general...punching people for no reason as they walk down the street is a thing apparently.
