OCC Proposed Rule in Federal Register - Fair Access to Financial Services

The attack on our Second Amendment rights can come from many directions.

One of the ways is through coordinated efforts to put pressure on banks and other financial institutions to deny financial services to firearms-related businesses, such as manufacturers and retailers of firearms and ammunition and those providing firearms-related services. If a business cannot open bank accounts or obtain loans or process payments received, it just cannot do business.

The OCC (Office of Comptroller of the Currency), which regulates national banks and federal savings associations, proposed a rule in November which would require banks to offer fair access to financial services to everyone. The comment period expires on January 4, 2021.

Here is an article discussing the proposed rule:

Here is a link to the Federal Register website where you can read the proposed rule and comment on the rule, if you wish to do so:

I encourage you to read the proposed regulation, and comment if you are so inclined.
