Competitive shotgun shooting is pretty firmly established in a lot of high schools in Texas already. The Youth Target Foundation is one such umbrella organization that's available to schools in Texas and Oklahoma.

I've been priveledged to be the school sponsor of one such school club, here at the school where I teach, for the last four years.
This team, with all freshman members, went on the win the "rookie" division national championships in Skeet, Sporting Clays, and Trap their first year at the USAYESS national championships at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio.
