I thought Texas got rid of the Fleeing Felon rule and I don't think we ever had a Friend of Fleeing Felon rule.

The same legal changes that eliminated training requirements for renewal also changed when you must renew. Now, you must apply for renewal BEFORE YOUR CURRENT LICENSE EXPIRES.
