Hm. Good thought. They're designed to be weather-proof, and if you're willing to buy pricier ones, they even have infrared nighttime capability. Downside to these is that they, too, can be stolen, and the photos are all stored locally, in the device. But if you have a long, wooded drive, you might be able to position a couple of these guys so they're virtually invisible even in the daytime. Now you got me thinking about one for the backyard...
