Re: Am I a member of the NRA?

One would expect to receive their Member ID with the FIRST confirmation email from the NRA. I finally received my Member ID after contacting the NRA twice by email. Since then, I have attempted to kill the incessant junk emails Wayne and the boys keep sending me, but apparently I've been put on 12,9...

If they were looking for a suspect and wanted to go through my house and yard, it would depend on whether there was mud on their boots. :totap:

As soon as I made my post above, I just got another junk email from the NRA. I kid you not. :headscratch

Re: Why I don't belong to the NRA

Today, I received a reply to an email requesting my Member ID. I now have it, have been online, and have updated what I do and don't want to receive from the NRA. I did run into one minor problem, and that was the NRA's insistence on providing a phone number. My old reliable 012-345-6789 wouldn't wo...

If Microsoft doesn't ditch that Windows 8 overlay, my next desktop computer will be an Apple product.

I was going to answer your question, but I'm not a LEO or a lawyer. Besides, my answer wouldn't be legal anyway.

No, I haven't bought one. And I most certainly can't figure out why just about anyone would purchase one.

Re: Why I don't belong to the NRA

To the time of this post, being a member of the NRA isn't working out too well. I'm getting lots of NRA emails, but the NRA has yet to tell me what my member number is so that I can stop the emails. I emailed the NRA last Friday, and have yet to receive a reply. I'll wait a few more days and see if ...

Re: Library Feedback

As far as the last fifteen years [abbreviated profanity deleted] me, the answer is "Never", so that's what I answered. A main library is no doubt a good idea for those few that actually use it, but branch libraries need to be shut down. They're a waste of tax dollars. The average library u...

Re: Expunged Records

No, the CHL application is not an exception. If something has been expunged, it didn't happen. Unless the other party can legally tell you why you would have to reveal an expungement before even asking such a question, the respondent should keep his or her mouth shut and reply "No" to any...

Re: Expunged Records

It's my understanding that if you have something expunged you do not have to reveal it to anyone. Never happened. CHL application in Texas is an exception. Re: What arms & ammo would you need in an Zombie Attack ?

Uh, as best as I can tell, one only needs to be armed with two fresh AA-batteries in the TV remote, and by clicking the "Off" button, all known zombie attacks will cease. "rlol"

I'd have to look it up. I do know that three Lubbock police officers one morning many years ago had never seen one until they saw my permit.
