What actually keeps these wild, girl-crazy 21-y.o. guys from bringing guns on campus in the first place? If someone has murder on his/her mind, a law against guns on campus doesn't slow that person down a bit....as we've seen before. Only the people who choose to follow the law are affected by the law.

As a lame duck, I doubt he'll do much of anything other than prepare for his next POTUS run....

If this is so important to him, why didn't he push this in 2011 or 2009? Why did he leave the state during the last SS instead of personally drumming up support for the bill?

Perry is good at giving lip service and signing his name, but he lacks the leadership needed to rally support. Texas needs better than Perry.

Pro-CHL bills are a state issue....

Pro-life bills are a national GOP issue.....
