It's also not going to work in Texas. Texas law prohibits them from barring armed peace officers. I don't like that law one bit, but it's the law. Chas. (i) This section does not apply if: (1) the basis on which entry on the property or land or in the building was forbidden is that entry with a han...

Re: Lesson Learned - Gym nonCarry
I'll chime in here....my gym is owned by the same people that own the company I work for, it's attached to my building that I work in, and, I dart up during lunch for 30-40 minutes. My locker room isn't "secure" so to speak, but, given that the typical membership there is $50/month (not fo...

Re: I almost squeezed the trigger chasing after a guy!
A few months ago I had a not so humorous incident having to do with a dream. At zero-dark-30 my wife shook me awake to tell me I was having a nightmare, screaming and moving violently. This was not the first time this had happened. As i came awake I found my bedside m-1911 in my hand. As usual it h...

Re: Extra Magazine Carry
having a custom holster made with one extra mag spot, and I'm going hunting for a double mag pouch for the other side/small of the back.... 1911 with 14 in, 14 in front of it, and an extra 28 on the other side sounds pretty good to me....

Re: Today Was a Good Day...
got mine saturday, I agree, it was a pretty good feeling, even better timing because I was taking my daughter out camping, and, while I'm not worried about running into people that I might need to be armed to deal with...I do have rattlesnakes and the like to contend with, and, well, keeping my wee ...

I'm really liking the look of that Air Marshal 3....
May have to do that one...
I'm contemplating one of those IWB's but...I'll have to find a friend with one and try it first...

Re: Needing a holster for dress attire
Ok, let me throw a few replies out here... 1. I've looked at the crossbreed holsters, and fail to understand how you successfully tuck a shirt in with something that's clipped to the inside of your belt...clarification/pictures would be awesome. 2. Sorry for how this is going to sound, but, a differ...

Needing a holster for dress attire
First, let me apologize for yet another "hey, help me find (X product) for my (insert firearm)" thread. That said, I've got an XD40 5" that I need to be able to conceal under business professional attire, minus the jacket. I've looked into the IWB holsters, but, with the requirement t...
