This is very interesting (aside from upsetting). As I recall, the state fair used to actually do this, and was forced to change their policy after some protest and pointing out the parts of the law that forbid governments banning CHL carry (with certain exceptions), due to the fact that the fairground is government property. This is the same nonsense that is going on at the American Airlines Center and other privately operated, government owned venues.gemini wrote:
