Maybe it's just me but I would be thinking lawsuit, we are required to know the law, since it's his job to enforce the law he better know it! Had he politely walked up and asked for your permit and requested you to follow him outside, sure no problem, but when he actually placed his hands on you now we are talking assault, you were not breaking any law, he had no right to disarm you let alone touch you!
