Some of the guys at work were discussing this story and one of the woman asked "who carries hollow-points?" I looked at her and said, "Everyone!"Perry said he will carry his .380 Ruger — loaded with hollow-point bullets — when jogging on trails because he is afraid of snakes. He'd also seen coyotes in the undeveloped area.
Coyotes are smart, but I don't think that they would understand the cause and effect.CaptWoodrow10 wrote:That's an old ranchers trick to keeping coyotes away. On my way home there were people parked on the side of the road taking them down.
I've heard that putting them up is a way to warn other ranchers that there are a bunch of them in the area. The people taking them down looked like hippies (no offense to any hippies we have here). Just an interesting sight I guess. Anyone have any more insight in the matter?
