One thing that is significantly different there is the population density. South Dakota has about 10,000 fewer people in it than Travis County. South Dakota is about 77,000 square miles while Travis County is just over 1,000 square miles. People in South Dakota would need long range rifles just to hit each other.Funny thing is, South Dakota is not flooded with blood in the streets, shoot-outs over parking spaces, at sports venues, or any of the other horrors that permissive concealed carry is supposed to bring.
