There is no tactical value in any of this. You would never disengage from an active threat to allow someone else to shoot. The second "follow on" officer / shooter has to come up patch to patch and earn the shot or else stay off a minimum of two large steps (6 feet or more) offline to buy reaction time.

And CSAT teaches checking six before coming up from kneeling specifically because of this.


But this is a pointless drill teach useless non-real-world tactics.
