Yup it's being taught, or at least it was in my LTC class. Heck it's even enforced in gun stores in the way of keeping your holstered weapon holstered to prevent ND's. It seems that the gun community needs to emphasize that every handgun should always be securely holstered (or in a proper hard case) when being transported or carried. Is this being taught in LTC class or NRA courses?
