The PA license from Centre County is cheaper, quicker, no class, no prints or photo, but requires a TX CHL for TX residents. Utah is more expensive, takes longer, requires a class, requires fingerprints and photo, but you don't need a TX CHL. So it seems to me the Utah license may be a good alternative to a Texas CHL but the PA license is a better backup.Kevinf2349 wrote:I guess that is why some folks grab a Utah license and keep it in a 'safe' place.
