Everyone who sent an email should send another thanking them for doing the right thing.

I agree with others that have said, don't educate her about the illegal sign.

When I read her email, she said "I have enclosed a link passed along from another member of my management team that lists many commonly asked questions and the appropriate answers from the Texas Department of Public Safety Division of Handgun Licensing."

That makes me think, she has someone on staff who is familiar with but not completely educated on CHL's and the law. I suspect that person is anti-gun and told her a bunch of horror stories to convince her to put up the sign. As with most normal people who over-react like that, they don't read all of the law, just the part they think (or were told) applies.

I can easily see some anti-gun dope telling her guns are bad and all you have to do is put up this sign and we'll be safe....

Just a thought...
