after seeing some of the "geniuses" that have rented guns at my local range, i'm all for it... i've been shooting at times only to glance down the firing line and see someone one hand it and aim down the side... was unaware you could actually buy these...

I'd just start asking for a deposit on rental guns... that way when they do off themselves you can withhold the deposit until they return the firearm.
