Nothing wrong with saying thanks to Him every day, all the time. Why wait? Go on Sunday to worship Him for who He is.

I'm glad you're OK. Sounds like the cop was a professional. I was on a motorcycle ride back in California once with a buddy. We were on the Upper Big Tujunga Canyon Road, which connects the Angeles Forest Highway to the Angeles Crest Highway, about half a mile above Hidden Springs, headed down Upper Big T toward the Forest Highway at pretty close to 80 mph. My friend was about a bike length ahead of me, when a good sized buck jumped out next to a cut in the hillside. He lept clean over the top of my friend's bike, and my friend just had time to duck so that the deer's hind legs missed his head by inches. Scared the bejabbers out of both of us.

Another time on The Crest, an acquaintance of mine riding a Goldwing and pulling a small trailer had a collision with a deer, knocking his bike over and pretty much hammering both the deer and the bike. Another friend of mine told me of coming upon a vehicle accident on The Crest where a deer jumped in front of a pickup truck and came through the windshield, killing both the animal and the driver.

They just don't know any better, but it sure can be dangerous if you happen on one that way. Glad you're OK.
