1. "Printing" is not illegal. Period.

2. "Intentional failure to conceal" is illegal, unless......you are drawing the weapon to use it in self-defense.

3. Carrying a pistol in its case does not constitute intentional failure to conceal. If it were not so, then you broke the law on every trip to the range you ever made with a pistol.

4. Whether or not a pistol case, clearly identifiable as such, left on the seat next to you is a wise idea......only you can decide that. Personally, I put any guns I'm not carrying concealed on my person (or in my "manbag") in the back of my SUV, along with the ammo, etc.
