I had the guy at Shoot Smart in Fort Worth do it while I waited. As I recall, I had not yet received the sight pusher I had ordered, and I just wanted to get it done. I think they charged me something in the $20-$40 range if I recall correctly, and it took about 20 minutes while I waited.

BTW, if you decide you like the Battle Hook better, I believe that OldCannon is a distributor, and you can get them directly from him too.

I have these on my XDM, with the orange front sight (available in yellow too), at $125.00 for the set. The rear sight has a black face with a large U shaped notch. The rear tritium lamps are set in black plastic inserts that blend into the rear face of the sight. The tritium lamp on the front sight is set in an "oversized" brightly colored plastic insert (orange, or yellow). That insert is luminescent. It glows very brightly in bright sunlight, making the front sight very easy to pick up in the large U of the rear sight. It continues to phosphoresce for a while as you transition out of the bright sun and into darker places. Eventually, it fades, and the pure tritium lamp takes over. I'm sure the others are good too, but I've settled on these. I'll likely never buy another kind of night sight set.
