On a .30 cal bullet, I have a bunch or 150 grain soft points, are they all useable on 30.06, .308, and on 30-30? ( I realize the flat on the end of the 30-30 because of the tube mag).

Hate to say it, but a lot depends on the ammo. I get +/- 3" dependent on the type.

We got the granddaughter a cricket and it was great for a year or two, till she out grew the reach. Got her a Henry lever action last year and it is much closer to the Red Ryder BB gun she started with. It still has the a reasonably short stock, but not way too short like her Cricket.
