For me, it hasn't changed! I still get that proverbial 'Buck Fever' every time I look down the scope, be it a buck or a doe!lawrnk wrote:You sure are right. Does it change after the first?
Especially when I'd hunt in MN, sitting out in the cold and waiting (no food bait allowed), then finally seeing one...it was a thrill!
But my 1st will always have a special place in my heart! I was so nervous and was afraid I'd miss the kill zone...started to doubt my scope zero, and all sorts. But once I pulled the trigger, the deer was DRT! (Dead Right There).
