Re: Renewal bull
Well I looked again and did not see DD214 Anywhere. And I only paid half the amount , it may have been $35 but I don't remember as it's been SO LONG now.Vic303 wrote:And it is noted in the paperwork that you must submit the DD214 to qualify for the discount. DH took advantage of that earlier this year.
And yesterday my CHL expired, thanks DPS.
Anyone got any input on carry in your vehicle without a CHL as I believe it's now legal but
I ride a motorcycle and am not thrilled with leaving a gun in my tank bag, locked or not.

Renewal bull
Ok I knew Austin would find a way to not renew my license in time. First I had to call and get a "second" package sent after filling everything out online
and paying my $70 ( new vets discount ). Now when the package finally arrived 8-10 weeks after paying I took the class that weekend and sent everything
in, or so I thought. Now 40 days later I get , you did not send a copy of your DD214 . THEY NEVER ASKED for it. The state already knows I'm a vet as I have
a loan through the TX vets land board. So now my CHL expires Thursday and I'm irritated.
